Francis Bacon once said, “The job of the artist is always to deepen the mystery.” Creativity often feels closer to madness than to art. My black sketchbook is my link between that madness and reality — seen and unseen.

I’ve always loved art. I’ve always viewed the world a little differently than my friends. For me, “the madness” took hold in college where I graduated with a BFA in fine studio art. I’m married to a strikingly handsome, bald, Italian, hockey playing theologian. I’m a wife, a mother, a Christian, and an Artist.
